FAQs and Troubleshooting:

 

Q: How long do I have to press the button for the light to turn on? 

A: You need to depress the button for one second to decrease accidental "turning on" of the device.

  • Please note that sometimes you'll need to hold the button down for as long as 10 seconds to turn the device on.

 

Q: How do I charge with the USB Cable? 

A: You can plug the cable provided into any of the USB outlets you have. This includes a USB wall outlet adapter your phone(s) came with and/or your computer's USB outlet (just make the sure the computer is on, so the power reaches the band).

Q: Is UV-C Zap Band water resistant? 

A: No, the UVC Zap Band is not water-resistant. 

 

Q: What material is the band made out of?  

A: UV-C Zap Band is made of an elastomer material similar to many sports watches and in a black matte finish.

 

Q: What wrist sizes does the band fit?  

A: UV-C Zap Band has a universal one-size-fits-most band size.  

 

Q: How old do you have to be to use UVC light. 

A: This is intended to be used by adults and those who are mature enough to understand how to use it. It is imperative that the light NOT be pointed at humans or pets. The light cannot be pointed at the eyes or skin for close or prolonged exposure. If those directions can be followed, then the UVC light is safe to use. We would discourage use in toddlers and young children because of this limitation. 

 

 

Q: How long does it take to receive the UV-C Zap Band after purchase?

A: Typically takes 3-5 business days to receive your UV-C Zap Band after purchase. You should receive tracking information as soon as the device as been shipped.


Q: Does UV-C Zap Band come with a warranty? 

A: UV-C Zap Band comes with a 30 day warranty from the day it is ordered. If a product arrives damaged, please let us know immediately by emailing us a picture and the email address you used to purchase. Please send all information to support@uvczapband.com and we will take care of it. Before contacting us, please review all of our troubleshooting FAQs. When contacting us, please let us know exactly what is wrong with the product. Warranty information can be found on the Refund Policy page.


Q: What is the return policy for UV-C Zap Band?

A: Please read our Refund Policy page. UVC Zap Band can be returned only if the package has NOT been opened. We can only accept UNOPENED products. We do charge a 20% restocking fee on all returns. Buyer is responsible for shipping the product back to our returned shipping facility located in Los Angeles, California. Return address is:

Q: Can I cancel my order?

A: Orders can be cancelled if the product hasn’t been shipped yet, so if there’s an accidental order, please let us know as soon as possible.


Q: Do you ship outside of the US? 

A: Currently, we do not ship outside of the US, but we will expand international purchasing opportunities soon.
